Anita Pandey, VP of Marketing at Velostrata

Anita has 18 years of experience as a marketing leader who has scaled emerging technology categories at a variety of startups as well as new acquisitions at public companies. Her domain expertise spans health-tech, edu-tech as well as B2B enterprise collaboration software, cloud, security and infrastructure marketing.  After several exits that include an IPO and an acquisition by Google, but also a “zombie” start-up, Pandey has learned many lessons: from start-ups grappling with issues of product-market-fit, market segmentation and brand differentiation to go-to-market strategy, category leadership and scaling global pipeline. Last but not least, she has been humbled by the biggest challenge of all – scaling cultures that succeed.  Pandey holds a master’s degree in business from the Sloan School of Management at MIT.   In her spare time, Anita mentors start-up founders and women pursuing tech leadership roles. Originally from Botswana, she is passionate about wildlife conservation and universal childhood education.
