Please join us for a very special evening to celebrate The CLUB, our outstanding community of women leaders, and our many accomplishments year to date.

This is a fantastic opportunity to meet new members, network, and to celebrate in each other's successes. The evening will consist of a champagne reception, a fun networking icebreaker, remarks by The CLUB President and Board of Directors, a formal dinner, a dessert buffet and our annual CLUBbie Awards.

We will also feature an enlightening fireside chat with author and historian Julie Des Jardins, negotiation expert, Jennie Giron and communications guru Susan Freeman.

The chat will cover everything from what your peers are focusing on next in their careers to understanding the nuances of communication & negotiation so you can achieve your goals and be perceived the way YOU intend to be perceived.

We welcome you to invite your spouse, significant other, or any other special individual in your life to join us in this memorable celebration. When registered at the same time, members can RSVP for guests at the special member price.

Julie Des Jardins
Author, Editor, Historian, Consultant on Gender and Women

Julie Des Jardins is an author, editor, scholar, and cultural analyst focusing on women and gender in American culture. She has written five books, including American Queenmaker (Basic, 2020), Walter Camp: Football and the Modern Man (Oxford, 2015), Lillian Gilbreth: Redefining Domesticity (Westview, 2012), The Madame Curie Complex: The Hidden History of Women in Science (Feminist Press, 2010), and Women and the Historical Enterprise in America: Gender, Race, and the Politics of Memory (UNC, 2003).

Julie has a Ph.D. in American history from Brown University and has taught at Harvard, Macalester, and as Professor of History at Baruch College, City University of New York. She has spoken throughout the country, using her research on the history of science to help women in STEM navigate the gendered culture of their fields. Along with appearing on NPR, C-SPAN Book TV, the BBC, and television and radio programs in Canada, New Zealand, England, and Ireland, she edits book monographs and coaches potential authors, both academic and trade. Currently, she is consulting on several historical projects focused on gender and race in America.


Susan C. Freeman, M.A.

Susan’s goal is to help women in business communicate effectively with the world -- and to help men communicate effectively with women in business!
Susan has worked with some of the most prestigious law firms and financial services institutions in the world. Susan is the co-author of the book, “The Ultimate Women Associates’ Law Firm Marketing Checklist.” She has been published in California Lawyers Association’s Legal Business World and Rainmaker VT, and has been a guest on podcasts such as Scott Love’s “Partner Podcast,” Good2bSocial’s “Legal Marketing 2.0” and the “Ellevate Podcast.” Susan co-founded “Women’s Business Connection” in Massachusetts and “Girl Power” with over 6,000 followers. She has also taught “Girls in Politics,” a program created to introduce girls to politics, policy, and the branches of government.
Susan was graduated with honors from Hawaii Pacific University with a Master of Arts degree in Communication and Louisiana State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in both Political Science and Journalism, and a minor in Marketing. She also studied Marketing at Northeastern University in Boston. Susan has lived in Louisiana, Switzerland, Italy, Massachusetts, Hawaii, and California.


Jennie Giron, MBA, MEd

Jennie is passionate about helping individuals develop their leadership potential. She believes that the ability to advocate and negotiate for yourself and others is key to being a successful leader. Jennie have 7+ years working in the leadership development and consulting industry, have an M.B.A., an M.Ed., and is completing a Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior at Claremont Graduate University. Jennie’s background in Business, Psychology, and Education gives her a strong foundation to help leaders and organizations hone their strengths, tackle challenging problems, live with purpose and impact, and lead their companies to success.

Tanal is a passionate people strategist with a track record of delivering on HR programs that enhance employee experiences.

Tanal started her career building a 7 figure reverse logistics company and carries that owner’s mindset into all my roles.
