Plan your Presentation: Crafting A Topic To Intrigue Your Audience

Public speaking is an important way to promote your ideas, influence others, and become known as a thought leader. Our goal is to help you identify the topic you want to present, uncover the unique aspects of what you want to say, and craft it in a way that will intrigue your audience.

Come to the session with a few topic ideas in mind. In this innovative framework from LMC17, we’ll use an online worksheet, micro-coaching, crowdsourced ideas, breakout room peer activities, and participant polling to help you uplevel your topic and construct a few dazzling key points. We’ll use a few online tools, so it will help to have multiple screens or devices if possible.

This workshop will be led by Laraine McKinnon, an innovation and diversity strategist, the founder of consulting firm LMC17, and the current CLUB President. Laraine is an advocate for women leaders and is passionate about getting them recognized, particularly through public speaking.
