Redwood Hike

Join us for a hike in the redwood forest! Huddart Park provides a gorgeous entrance to the majestic redwoods. We'll follow the well-groomed Richards Road, a moderately hilly packed dirt and redwood needle fire road alongside the creek bed, then hike a short hill to enter deeper into the redwoods via the narrower Miramontes Trail in the Phleger Estate.

This is a loosely organized family friendly event. We’ll meet at the parking lot. Give yourself extra time to drive the winding Kings Mountain Road, enter Huddart Park, pay the entrance fee, get parked - see the Arrival Info PDF for maps & visual landmarks! The planned hike is about 2 miles into the redwoods and then backtrack on the same trail for a ~4 mile total.
