The CLUB Bay Area Women’s Organization Announces New Board Members
The CLUB of San Francisco Bay Area appoints new Board members to accelerate members’ leadership journeys
Palo Alto—The CLUB, a San Francisco Bay Area organization focused on supporting women in their careers, announced new Board members for the 2019-2020 term. CLUB President, Laraine McKinnon, said, “We’re bringing on four people passionate about the CLUB’s mission to create a diverse community of inspiring professionals helping women to accelerate their leadership journeys.”
New Board members include:
Lamya Alaoui, Tanal Basma, Catherine Cannon-Francis, and Jeanel Carlson.
Lamya Alaoui. Lamya leads Membership for the CLUB, reaching out across the CLUB’s collective network to welcome and onboard new members. She is a certified behavioral consultant, and founder and CEO of CoachMya, a management consulting firm.
Tanal Basma. Tanal brings her experience as a talent and diversity advocate to the CLUB’s Board and membership. She is a senior Human Resources operations manager and business partner at EEC, Inc. Tanal will be Board liaison for the CLUB’s mentoring efforts, including Mentoring Circles.
Catherine Cannon-Francis. Catherine runs the social portion of the CLUB’s calendar, designing events where CLUB members can relax and socialize. A former teacher, Catherine is now part of one of the country’s largest financial services firms and helps clients with financial planning. For the CLUB, Catherine will take on the role of leading our Community, ensuring CLUB members have great opportunities to connect and unite in person and online.
Jeanel Carlson. Jeanel has been a CLUB member since 2017 and she loves the connections with fabulous like-minded women at the CLUB’s events. Jeanel is director of strategic relationships at Decker Communications, a company that helps clients transform communications to drive growth, engage teams and inspire audiences. Jeanel will be Board liaison for all of the CLUB’s marketing efforts.
